LOVE :the misunderstood emotion.
of all these different interpretations of love, there is another one which i most buy into and that is LOVE IS A SIMPLE ACT OF GIVING YOURSELF IN.Being a medical student,i witness something which is very common in hospital wards that exemplifies love. There are innumerous people who come to visit the patient -his relatives, his friends, his colleagues,….They express their concerns, their grief, some even shed rivers of tears raising the level of anxiety of patient even more but among all these humongous number of well wishers ,there are usually only a meagre (sometimes only a single person)number of those who stay with the afflicted being perpetually without expressing any disgust while cleaning away the patient”s excreta or vomitus. Those people unreluctantly stay awake with the patient ,go through all the pains so that the patient doesn’t have to go through the difficult situation alone. This very pure love, according to me defies all other definitions of love however strongly and vehemently they are potrayed by the protagonist in movies or books. This is the kind of love we should all yearn for .For me,I have recurrently realized that such a love harbours in the bosom of my parents and that they can make me feel like a complete princess even when I am in the most untidy or unfortunate or disgusting states as those victims of ailments. So i guess i have to conclude by thanking ALLAH for bestowing upon me my precious assets ‘’MY PARENTS’’
of so many emotions, love is the most hyped one. There are so many ways people perceive it ,so many different definitions they clung unto their entire lives.Novels and movies present it in such a glamarous way that it leaves a writ large influence on people that love appears to be some sort of sophisticated emotion or some kind of a melodramatic paranoia going on which wriggles a person”s capability to have a rational take on what he or she is reading or watching ,rather one gives in to the naive interpretation of love displayed so aesthetically and pompously on literary vehicles or screens.i am not against romantic movies or books but what is this trend of singularizing the concept of love only to a vehement involvement between two lovers?I mean love is too colossal to fit into a single trousseau celebrating it.Love betweeen a couple is just one facet of this fascinatingly deep sea.Love is present in this world in so many different forms, humans alone are not the lone entities to practise that.Where the world of media is adamant to establish love as an ineffable affection ,love also tends to sprout and bloom in the unpleasant aura of sweat and mundane discourses of an athlete for whom love is getting a gold in olympics .Love is also when a pet dog faints after seeing its owner after 5 long years earlier presumed to be dead.Love is when a man spends an extra hour in office so that the additional sum is raised for the ailing son of his friend.Love is also when a miserably despaired student is motivated and self confidence ingrained by genuine and caring words of a generous teacher
To add some naturalistic touch to this parlance, love also shines upon the sea bed as a mesmerizing PEARL after a mollusc receives and harbours a speck of sand for its jaw dropping transformation.Love is how a bee is never returned unhappy by flowers which spent hours and days in pollination, fertilization, and further more altogether to prepare the fullfiling nectar for their guests .
